I am an early UK adopter and big fan of the Raumfeld system.  I don't know how they managed to combine "open" with "quality" and great interface design, but the sound from the system is superb.  It's easy to set up and takes about an hour to learn to use.  My kids love it and worked out how to play different music in different rooms in no time.
