The cheapest place to buy one?

Trying to encourage my girlfriend to purchase a Toshiba 32" HD ready LCD.

I'd looked at Empire Direct and found that with the cost of a decent warantee, it isn't as cheap as I thought.

So I've got two questions:

1)Where do people think would be the cheapest place to buy one?

2) Would it be worth waiting until the football season starts and hope for a further reduction in prices as they try to shift more?

Input from anyone in the know, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Peter

Sound and vision online was cheaper.

It's just a question of persuading her to spend it, I'm looking to spend nothing.

I was thinking of buying a Toshiba 32WLT66 LCD TV-£999 including dvd recorder in local Comet store.Told not available when I tried Richer Sounds store in Cardiff, hoping to get better deal. Now read about new Toshiba 32WLT68, just coming out with claimed better picture and 3 HDMI sockets. Is it worth waiting for the latter one, about £1200 so too dear at present?
Would consider buying say a 21" HD ready tv to see me thro` until the new Toshiba reduces in price. Any views?

Is there anyone out there able to offer HELPFUL advice, specifically :
- is the Toshiba 32WLT68 worth waiting for on terms of superior specification ?
- any recommendation on 21" to 24" LCD HD ready tvs ?

Cheers,
Jasper

Kasper, other than 100Hz processing and 3 HDMI sockets, the new 32WLT68 doesn't seem to be much different from its WLT66 counterpart. Consdering how cheap this older model is (now under £700 online!) I reckon it would be a sound purhase.
