Watched the "Silent Hill" film last night, I was warned that it would be beneficial to be into the game to get the story, but I still didnt geddit :) maybe I was just too tired but the story just seemed to not flow for me and despite incredulous bouts of dialogue to explain things it just seemed to pass me by. Can anyone enlighten me?
The sound and visual effects were great though!

 can't say i've seen it but always found the game pretty disorientating (guess that's the idea though eh!). on a side point, anyone heard whether they're planning a new silent hill game for 360 or ps3?!

IF YOU GO ON WIKIPEDIA ,IT EXPLAINS THE PLOT OF'SILENT HILL'. I WATCHED IT A FEW WEEKS AGO ,AND DIDN'T GET IT! I THINK YOU HAVE TO SEE IT A FEW TIMES TO UNDERSTAND IT.I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE GHOSTS ,AT THE END ,BUT IN FACT THE WOMAN AND GIRL ARE IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE![VERY COMPLICATED!] PS .I MIGHT UNDERSTAND IT BETTER ON THE FANTASTIC BIG TELLY PRIZE[HINT,HINT!!!]

Rubbish film ..... great game (although Resident Evil was a better game / movie franchise).

I liked all the Silent Hill games,though i couldnt figure out Silent Hill 4,.Resident Evil....well now youre talking, played them all, but i think its a bit of a con that R/E 5 is only going on P.S.3 and not as initially quoted as being on P.S2 and P.S.3 and possibly on 360 X box

I didnt think the film related to the game in any way,and i,ve played them all,though i found 4 to be rather weird,wonder what 5s going to be like.If you,re into this sort of game try Doom 3,i,ve been playing it for nearly a year now and cant figure out what the guy does when he gets to them 2 tower cranes in the labyrinth,and also on the subject of games,on Resident Evil 4 how does he get the laser,i,ve so far got the machine gun and the rocket launcher,and according to what i,ve been told,when you get the laser,the game changes,but how do you get the laser?,and what are the changes?................Take Care...........Dave

The films a bit pap but Silent Hill 2 the GAME absolutely rocks! If your unsure of any ending of a film check out IMDB.com ~ theres nearly always an explanation on there somewhere

Hello Tamara,never really been into "cheats"theres no point in having the game if you,re going to cheat,and coming from you as well.......tut tut tut,still i may browse the site,just out of interest of course.Been trying to get hold of Silent Hill 3 and 4 but seems its out of stock most places,has S/H 5 come out yet or better still Resident Evil 5...........Take Care..........Dave

Hi Dave, I think that's why it's taken me so long to post it. I wasn't so much thinking of cheating...as looking at the hints section......I'll leave it to your discretion. I don't like cheating either wrecks the skill factor but they do discuss the strategy of getting to the next level as your a purist like myself. Good luck and great judgement.
