hallo i use since 2 years my pc for music and video ,i got a 4 procesor pc and a asus xonar hdav1.3 soundcard  and a ati 5870 video card connected to my integra dtr 8.9 and focal dome 5.1  speaker system..and a philips 9704 led tv ....no way i could ever go back to the stereo music  and dvd playback.... with 5.1 multichannel  music and bluray movies the stereo and dvd  seems outdated ,but there are many ways to improve the sound of my pc one of them is ..i bought a extern disk connected to a wireworld starlight 6 usb cable  and the results with multichannel music 16 bit 19200 khz 5.1 are amazing  .so the sound of my intern disc is much flatter then when i play it from the extern with wireworld usb ...this is one way of improving my (digital )sound ...i know there are many discussions about digital transfer .but i am convinced its the future ...my question are there more improvements to make in my system is there a digital freak out there to give me some info

yes rob  it is great cable the wireworld usb 6  but according to my pc shop it is impossible to  hear any difference ...they dont have the material to test with so they speak from there technical background....me on the other hand have it all and its so much fun 2 play with ...i use sony soundforge 10b for multichannel playback  this proces with all plug ins is so nice to experiment with .but if done correctly u sound will be amazing man saluti musiclovers
