Carl,

It seems everyone has been boycotting the music thread in order to allow the Isotek thread to catch up....

...Either that or the Mesmerism is working again....Im-ho-tep....sorry.....I-so-tek !!....

Kind regards,

Bill.

Hi Bill,

Boycott music never ! ex mother in law passed away - took wind out of sail in this household - nice Lady sadly missed, she was great help with her grandchildren.

Thought i would let this thread fizzle out - as no one has replied with any further tests/ results ?

Hi Bill,

Thanks for sentiments, Had request from family to use my Daughters recording of Pei a jusue, that she recorded at the age of eight, for the funeral service, not a dry eye at end of funeral , very fitting that grandmother loved daughters singing.

Not been on a lot, Got my self a HD Free-sat box, and giving my visual senses a good work out at moment.

Hi Bill, David,

Nearly there, as the vicar said to the nun ? yes i was talking about views of thread - Mm ?

Bill nice little village "I have a name not a number !" IE the prisoner tv series, always wanted Patrick McGowan's car, shown at start of program, cant remember make now though? - god they made the welsh proud with the size of those condoms, suppose they did not realise sand and rubber combo dont go together. LOL.

How has the village fared over the years is it maintained or is age letting it down ?   Cheers ...Carl.

Carl....I'll help u on that one mate (taking a leaf out of Hans's book )

It was a Caterham 7 Sprint (like sitting with your rear end 1/2" off the ground in a buzz box travelling at ?? MPH (Because of it's "brick" like aerodynamics, it didn't really go much faster than 115). The nearest thing to a formula racing car available at the time and indeed for many years after....all senses considerably assailed when driving it...forget in-car hifi ! You'd never hear it !!

What was the famous registration number....was it KAR120C?

The village needs touching up in places but otherwise weathering not too badly

Best regards, Bill.

Hello Carl,Bill, seems that the proposed trip to Wales has been put on hold, but we may meet in the near future as boss No1 is wanting to pay her home town a visit,i,ll keep you informed when we are going,so you,re only 50 a spring chicken compared to my 60.Often wondered myself what that car was on the Prisoner,i always thought it was of those "kit cars",oh before i forget, Bill ,that group Fotheringay who i said was the album title of one of F/C  albums, well plonker here was wrong, there was a band called Fotheringay who accompanied Sandy Denny anyway back to the thread, this Caterham did only 115mph thats not really slow,my Blazer only does about 100[downhill,with a stong tail wind, and full sails,i think its 0-60 in three weeks]had a look at the Lamborghini dealership yes only a look, stunning is what they are,far too pretty for this one,or so the boss says,ah well i can dream, but i,d have to saw my legs off in order to get into it,...........take care all............dave

Hi Dave,

Look on the bright side buddy...the speedo may be over-reading by 10% so you may actually only be doing 90mph ()

Dave...I read in the music thread that you are relinquishing your Townsend Rock....I tell you, you don't hang about mate.... ...but you are a classic negotiator. (I hope I didn't unsettle your views of the Rock by showing you all these glossy pictures !)

All the best mate......Bill.

Carl....the gear lever snapped off in my hand as I was driving along a dual-carriageway at 40mph.

I was just waiting for the steering wheel to go next...

What more can I say.....

(It was my very first car - my wife's uncle died and they gave it to us. It had been stored in a garage mostly unused for over 10 yrs and had only 13K on the clock )

All the best mate...Bill.
