I love your humour!

I m going to take comfort in making Sloe Gin:

Ingredients
450g/1lb sloes
225g/8oz caster sugar
1 litre/1¾ pint gin

Method
1. Prick the tough skin of the sloes all over with a clean needle and put in a large sterilised jar.
2. Pour in the sugar and the gin, seal tightly and shake well.
3. Store in a cool, dark cupboard and shake every other day for a week. Then shake once a week for two months .......leave it longer and it just gets better.....

Hi Dave,

On that basis, I'm thinking to reassess the frequency.

Hi Dave,

Sorry mate.....I did answer your question on the RB300  but put it on the "Michell Orbe" Thread thinking you would have spotted it more easily there.....

The music Thread moves so fast it'shard to track at times

All the best........Bill.

Hi Tamara,

No end of the world scenario yet as I understand they've only been taking particles for a one-way spin around the track...then they were going to test the opposite direction.

After that we can all dive for cover

Best regards,

Bill.

Hi Bill,

The particle they are looking for is nicknamed "the God Particle"...It is supposed to hold it all together.... Going back to our earlier discussions about man's involvement I shoud say goodbye now.

Hi Tamara,

There is a musical connection here too.....Brian Cox formerly of "D:Ream" is one of the physicists working at the site

"Reported earthquake near Japan...tsunami alert!.   Not linked to the riotous behavour in your last post I hope?"

Hi Bill,

Good news here is that the plasterers have arrived and are attempting to plaster/skim the ground floor.....how are you fixed for some sanding?

Show/hide user stats

Ha ha ! All I will say is that my left arm is now useless Tamara..... ( )

The good news is that the work is progressing on the bathroom. I'm on a half day tomorrow to make a serious dent in it

Best regards,

Bill.

Hi Bill,

Don't do it !  It'll need filling and  sanding down...perhaps another half days work.

Hello All,reported earthquakes in Japan, better turn down my trannies

Hi Dave,

I'll put the Sloe Gin on hold too then ...daren't risk too much shaking...just when I was going to increase the frequency....oh well.

Hi Tamara,

.....Still catching up on the last 2 or 3 days (My daughter's been busy !)

"Don't do it !  It'll need filling and  sanding down...perhaps another half days work"

....Advice taken and gratefully received Tamara....

Think I need to wash some walls down with sugar soap.....they're somewhat "sized" (residual wallpaper glue).....I'm just going to paint them after repairs.....

Uncovered a few settlement cracks but last time I found the modern equivalent of "Capt Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure" worked very well....

Bes regards............Bill.
