i have too many cd's to fit on my external hard drive which i use for itunes. is it possible to use two hard drives or will it be impossible to download songs from each onto my ipod? your suggestions experiences would be most welcome.

I think Itunes requires a single database so you're probably restricted to one hard drive.

You can use other software with the Ipod so I would look at something like that and see if that works. Maybe Windows Media Player.

I think you might be better upgrading the hard drive that you use for storing music though. You can get an half terrabyte for £200 these days.

I use 2 libraries for my ipod as long as you set the settings to manual synch and not auto synch you can drag and drop from any library.
