Hi,I've just bought a Supra Lo Rad 1.5 cable, Didn't realise it came without the IEC connector and the plug.Any idea what I should partner these with.Thanks.

MK Toughplug at the wall end (about £2.60 from Ryness). For the IEC, people seem to like Wattgates & I know from experience that they are easy to get a thick cable in to.

Hi

I know that this is an old message, but I am interested in the MK toughplug. As my day job involves electrical safety I swear by the MK toughplug, because it's well, tough! But does it sound better? I'm dubious- I can see how a decent length of speaker cable would make a difference, but does the mains lead?

I know some people use modified MK toughplugs with silver plated pins. Have any users tried these? Does it make a difference?

I did once read somewhere that if you swapped the standard kettle lead supplied with an amp with an esoteric lead you can't really tell the difference. But if you take the expensive cable and put it on the kettle you will have sweeter tasting tea with more body and depth. Any thoughts?
