Hi Tommy,

I think it is possible to get the remote working with your panasonic tv via a specific three digit code you can type in (the code for panasonic should be listed in the remote's manual). Below are some instructions i found on how to do this:

To change the code for TV control:
1. Press TV Control Power On key whilst pressing the ENTER key on the remote, the LED should light
2. Enter the three digit code upon which the LED light goes off.

Hope it works!

Thanks for that Al but i no longer have the manuals and therefore i cannot obtain this code. do you know if there is another way of getting these codes?

Probably the easiest way is to contact Pioneer directly - i'll drop them an email...

Ok, the following codes are for Panasonic tvs - give them a try. Not sure which one's the right one...

608, 622, 631, 642

Cheers,

Al

Do you have any idea of how to reset the codes back to the factory setting later on if i need to?

Glad that worked! Here's how to reset the remote to its factory settings:

While pressing the ENTER button press and hold the 0 button for three seconds. The LED on the remote control blinks three times indicating all the preset codes have been cleared.
