please can someone tell me what is ci-slot?

am looking at buying the humax duovisio pvr9200t, is this the same one as the pvr-9200t.

also one of your reviews say,s this model has top up tv function, but i can,t find it saying that anywhere else please advise await  your reply on buying thank you  errol

 rang  humax and was told it dose have the up grade for top up tv but you have to buy it as an extra? £20.00 approx thats for sports  which i was looking for.

now i have seen the evesham i player, because i am new at this game i dont know which is the best to get? i want something which will give me top up tv with free view but dont know what the evesham is please can someone tell me which is the best for what i want i know about the sagem dvr-64250 but alas no top up.

as system is in my front room there is no pc link there and i am not to good with that stuff either but i do like future proof? how long is another matter?
