hi, can anyone tell me anything about monitor audio s5 floorstanding speakers, such as sound quality,build quality etc. as i am thinking of getting some. thanx terry

I am in the process of upgrading my Tannoy 5.1 speaker system and have recently had a demo of this speaker range. I thought they were excellent in terms of build and performance, they were a bit too expensive for me because I wanted the whole package, fronts, rear and sub but I was impressed. I settled for Wharfedales which were on offer and well within my budget and the performance and quality were certainly acceptable.
