Who is going to wait for a Sony Blueray dvd player to get cheaper when, I for one, will buy a Sony Playstation 3 to play high defnition films on my Sony 40in flat screen hd tv. For £425 you get the same workings as a £1000 Sony Blueray dvd player. How do Sony do it, or is there something I have missed? Comments would be most welcome.

It's called losing money to gain market share. Increasing profits from other products, such as HD tv's.
