im about to get a new stereo system and have an anoyingly low budget of aroun £150-£200. im looking at the phillips mcm8 micro system and wondered if anyone had any advice on other systems

i quite the look of the pure DTM-300. similar price range too. anyone out there tried any of these?

You could also try the TEAC MC-DX220iDAB which can be mounted on the wall and does sound pretty good actually.

If you can make the stretch to £300 (or wait a few months more to save up a bit more and see the first used examples appear), the Onkyo CR-15DAB is excellent.
