Having recently listened to the Arcam Solo with Linn Ninka speakers I have come round to the idea of possibly spending £1200 on the Ninka's, which were deeply impressive, while going the separates route for the sources. I like NAD amps and am tempted by the power-per-pound offered by the C372, along with some favourable reviews.Has anyone partnered this amp with a Cyrus CD6s with good reults and would they be a match for the Ninka's? Maybe MA RS6s would be more suitable? Grateful for any comments/advice.

I'm not totally convinced by this plan. The Ninkas seem to shine with very clean, slightly bright sounding amplifiers (a bit like the ones in the Arcam Solo)... and that's not what you get with the C372. The Cyrus amplifier would be a better match with the Linn Ninka, I think. OTOH, the NAD C372 and the RS6 would go well together.

I think you need to go back to the listening mines and dig out some good system choices.

Thanks Alan. Yes the RS6s were my original choice for speakers. My predicament is that there are only two hifi shops in Belfast where I can go and listen to systems. I'd love to go to a shop where I could compare Cyrus, Roksan, Quad & Primare & try them all with different speaker combos, but without leaving the country I'm restricted to NAD, Marantz, Cambridge Audio & Monitor Audio in one shop and Linn & Arcam in the other.

The Arcam Diva CD192 and Roksan Kandy MK3 amp would seem to be a favoured combo in publications, do you think the RS6s would be a good match?
