I have just purchased Cambridge Audio 840A and 840C.  My budget is now exhausted so have very little to spend on speakers for now.  So I added the audio acoustics 1010 as an interim solution.

I have two questions:

 1.  Are the Audio Acoustics 1010s a good idea?

2.  When I'm ready what speakers would you recommend and what price range (i'm flexible up to about £1000, I just want the best sound poss)

Hi Karl,

I would recommend the pmc dbi+ (£649 ) or tb2+ (£849 ), they are both standmounts and are unusual  because they are transmission line speakers , they sound fantastic better than anything else i have heard at the price with a huge sound stage and bass that only a transmission line can provide, they reproduce any type of music and are almost indestructible they look good too. Try to find a dealer and listen to them you will be amazed . See http://www.pmc-speakers.com  . I dont know the audio acoustics 1010 but i guess they will get you going for the time being.

     hope this helps.
