Hi all, I am in the process of upgrading my budget system and would like to give my old amp & speakers to my daughter to use with her Creative Zen mp3 player. The NAD C320 & Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s should be a vast improvement on her current tiny Creative speakers IF I can get it connected. Can you advise how to do this please? Is it just a matter of buying the right cable & plugging into the cd input? Ta.
Yes, it's a matter of buying the right cable, and plugging it into one of the inputs. In this case, a stereo minijack to two-phono cable and plugging it to any of the line-level inputs (including CD) going spare.
This plugs into the Zen's headphone socket. You don't get to control functionality anywhere apart from the Zen and you need to beware of the volume levels on both Zen and NAD. Otherwise, it's easy to drive.
