Hi,

Im new to the site and am after some help on a Pair of Wharfedael S500 75W speakers. Brought them from ebay, when they arrived the speaker had come loose from the cab unit. So i opened up the back and found inside that the speakers were actually Radio Tehnika 25W. Now im not really fluent with speaker jargon and knowledge but im pretty sure that this isn't right. The build of the cab when i got inside seemed to have been put together by a monkey, with lots of black paint, putty holding the speaker inplace and the mesh had been glued.

I cant seem to find any info or pictures on the net of the 75w version and was wondering if any one knew more about this model and to confirm that i have been flogged some dodgy russian speakers in a knocked up cab.

           Cheers,  jim

Hi,

This is funny... Radio tehnika is a Latvian company. I am latvian myself and I have this comany's speakers. Only can say that the quality is good. How much did you pay for these? Should not be more than 30-40 pounds for one.
