Bose V30
How does this system perform

I'm thinking about buying a surround system for my lounge, but want to have some very compact speakers as it is not a huge room. I saw the Bose V30, and thought that this could be a good option, especially as the main unit tucks away, and it has the new speaker design

I have tried to find a review for the system but haven't found one yet - has anyone tried this yet?

Also how can I find out if the the US model would work in the UK, it is currently retailing for 50% of the cost of the UK, so even with all of the import duties would be substantially cheaper?

Many thanks for your thoughts on this,

Piercey

Please can you let me know the outcome to your question on US models working in the UK as I am thinking along the same lines. I know they have different voltage system in US but do not know if it is a simple internal switching or not.

Thanks

In a nut shell it is bloody great!

Pro's - Sounds fantastic, Easy Connectivity, Very please with the pciture quality

Con's - AdaptiQ - didnt sound the best, but our room is "L" shaped turn it off. all happy again. Remote is going to take hours to setup.

Hello All,unless Bose has changed radically i wouldnt recommend them to anyone,i had a pair of the 901s plus that silly equalizer that didnt do a thing, the sound was dreadfull, only had them for a week, couldnt put up with them, absolutley awful, think i changed them for a pair of KEF floorstanders, ive heard Bose speakers since and still didnt rate them, and compared to my TDL Referance 5 Trasmission lines, they sound like horrible squeaky little things..........Dave
