Ok, Ok, what is a Iso tec Mira please? Well its a (Im not Technical) a power cable and socket that is supposed to cut out all the bad stuff thats in electricity when it comes into the house and it cleans it to give better pictures and sound. I gave used a similar item when I was playing LPs through my HI FI Amps etc I used an Einstien "The Octopussy" which was to clean up the electricity I am still using this with my TV,DVd etc but this Mira is specially for TVs. if you put Isotek Mira in to your browser it will come up. I was through the forum hoping to find someone who had actually used it. The Mira takes the aerial to prevent surges and the sockets take a LCD TV and a DVD Player. Incidentally anyone thinking of splashing out on Blu Ray DVD go for it it is amazing believe me, I expect HD is the same.

JVC LCD tv approx 3 years old been great but recently marks have appeared at the top of the screen a bit like shadows they don't show when the screen is dark but are really obvious when it is lighter. Any ideas on what they are or how to remove them would be great otherwise tv has been brilliant.

Re Nigel Emmett question. I can still recomend the Samsung LE40M87 as the best LCD TV I have seen not 100hz but for picture quality and the abilty to adjust so much if you want plus 3 HDMI inputs 1.3 it will take some beating. Been highly recommended in Home Cinema mags as well. I have had mine a month and I am still impressed every time I switch on the Digital TV or use Blue Ray discs. Mine came from RGB was a good price too Re question JVC LCD tv approx 3 years old been great but recently marks have appeared at the top of the screen a bit like shadows they don't show when the screen is dark but are really obvious when it is lighter. They do tend to leave the logo on each channel I have noticed. Shouldnt be a problem with an LCD but I am just summising. Does anyone know how to get rid of the channel logos anyway?

Thanks Alan I don't think it's burn in, too far spread for that and as I won the tv for my friend it will probably cost a fortune to fix, if it can be sorted. Just thought it was worth mentioning in case anybody had heard of it being a common problem.

Hi all, just recently bought a JVC 32" LCD TV (LT32DA8). It's a great TV - but my one problem with it, is when you're watching anything via the EXT or HDMI mode (i.e a Dvd), the EXT/HDMI display stays in the top right hand side of the screen & is quite annoying. Does anyone know how to get rid of the display?

I would usually recommend going for Sony Bravia LCD TV rather than going for any other brand, as it provides the best quality I've seen so far in my opinion. I have a burn mark mark on my lcd, or im assuming it is, like a shadow, didn't take out extended warranty cos my partner bought it, if it had of been me buying I would have took it out, as I have always with all my tv and have always had to be repaired. would on of those dvd pixel dvds help it?

Hi Fiona, don't quite understand the question as LCD screens do not burn, is it not just muck on the surface, or muck on the back light. What is a pixels DVD? Personally, like your partner, I never take extended warranties as most faults occur in the first few months. John...
