I bought a demoed Next Base Media 22 with missing manuals (and a few other items missing) and there is not really much documentation on the Internet to find. Some of the information must be wrong, too - can't see that analogue TV is one of the options, like mentioned in some of the reviews I've found. But anyway, I've tried an iPod Classic 160 GB, iPhone 8 GB and iPod Touch 16 GB and all of these works. You can control them by the included remote control as far as it's about music - I've not been able to get any signal on the built-in display - from video or photos on the iPods/iPhone. It is also possible to connect all iPods compatible with a dock with minijack out, but the remote can't control anything but the volume then.
The Next Base Media 22 is still a great "toy" to play with and I've still some options to experiment with. - And the sound is great, too. A little bit better than my Soundsticks, I'll say...;-)
