I am doing one of the following: Playing a DVD, or playing XBOX 360/PS3, or playing back a recorded TV show on my PVR, or playing a movie or listening to an album on my Media Center box (Popcorn Hour A100).
Can I have the sound of all of the those HDMI devices outputted through to my 5.1 surround sound (DVD Player/Surround Sound) via the optical output?
Is this device clever enough to do that?
E.G. My setup is as follows:
Toshiba LCD TV, 2xHDMI inputs
Popcorn Hour A100, 1xHDMI output /Coaxial Sound output.
Humax PVR 9200T, 1aScart output to TV Scart input / Optical Sound output.
Panasonic DVD 5.1 Suround Sound, 1xHDMI output / Opitcal Sound output.
XBOX360, 1xHDMI output, Optical Sound output.
So I am hoping it's not just a switch box for the HDMI, but also for the optical or coaxil sound?

Does anyone know the answer to this?
Is this a good buy, or are there other such devices that can do a better job or the job I need them to do.
