Could anyone explain to me how on earth these are meant to work? The article says that the signal is carried through your mains supply?! That sounds like a complete impossibility.

Olly, have you checked the website? www.4yourears.com There's a bit more info about it there, although it doesn't go into that much detail about the technological process involved - But there's a 30 day money back guarantee, so if the powerline doesn't work, you can always send the thing back! :)

Firstly, I am the distributor of this product in Europe, so I have a vested interest! But to answer the question, if you think of your mains cabling in the same way as an Ethernet network, you are on the right lines. The whole concept of Powerline networking is not new - only now has it become reliable. For many people it is more satifactory than wireless alternatives. If you are just interested in multi-room audio, and not Interent Radio, you don't even need a computer. Our company is happy to answer any questions you care to thow at us. Regards ... Graham Cross

Thanks Graham. The product definitely intrigues me. Do you know of anywhere where I could see a demonstration of the Poweline in action or is it only available over the internet?

Olly. The product is new in Europe so there is currently nothing on demonstration. As an earlier poster said, we offer a 30-day money back guarantee, so your only risk is the postal cost. If you want to discuss your specific requirement, please do so here, or if you prefer via our web site www.4yourears.com if you don't want the discussion 'open'.
Regards ... Graham
