 Hi Jane, All, "WARNING" most plasma and LCD screens have a protective film over the screen !!! CHECK your manual before cleaning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRT screens should be ok

Most dedicated cleaners are allright. Just don't get tempted to use alcohol.....

I bought some cleaner fluid, cloth and brush for about a fiver on ebay and it and works fine on LCD screen of PC and TV. Regards

 A fiver, I have ever only used a minute amount of washing up liquid on a slightly damp cloth, it cleans a LCD screen perfectly, and many other things, the phone, desk, mirrors etc. That reminds me of a trivial pursuit type question: 'what is the worlds most popular cleaning liquid'? John...

Come on mate you know me better than to think that I would pay £5 for 'a nice little blue bag', a bag that contains a damp cloth, but cleaning a screen does not even enter the Hi-Fi remit. Are we now going to get a range of products from the likes of RA that clean a screen so well that you never saw it so well before, a new cleaning product that is so superior that your telly never looked so good even from new. At only £100 it must be a bargain, and of course it does contain 'negative ions' so your screen will remain clean for the next hundred years. He would probably state that a major part of not enjoying a DVD is a little known subject, but after years of intensive research he has found the answer, and that is that your two month old TV is in need of a 'deep clean', this will improve matters better than any cable change, better than 'upsampleing' better than anything you ever thought possible, err and more profitable than anything else he sells. OK Carl but I don't think vinegar is the next most popular cleaner, good as it is, personally I prefer it on chips, but it does break down grease and fat, but I don't think it the next most used cleaner, I will stick to detergents, after all they are in most washing powders, and washing powders do clean rather well, put half a pack down the loo and see how clean that can be, take a bath in the stuff and see how clean you can be. It would probably give you some horrible skin disease, but you would be clean. John...

Hello All.i may be thick,but how does your LCD screen become greasy,its not in the kitchen.......is it??for cleaning the dust off the screen,may i suggest that you use a Blusher Brush,its what i use,and i also use it for the photo gear,but get a decent one................Dave
