I have to admit I'm guilty of not neing able to refuse HD-DVD's for £2.99 or occasioanlly £3.49 from HMV. But surely stocks are pretty much down to teh dregs by this point? No one is producing new discs are they?? The upscaling of the HD-DVD players has been praised for some time though.

Hi Steve,

As yourself i too have been snapping up the bargains, even if they do dry up we have the pleasure of seeing the likes of HMV cringe over the loss of profit, as they where the ones that over charged for these discs  Who knows the powers to be, may just reconsider on this format ?? but even if the stock is depleted, we still have a great up sampling DVD player

Oh indeed! Now if they just get in a few more copies of that remade Star Trek on the flipper discs for say, a tenner..

Hi Steve,

Game station, who also sold HD DVDs at over inflated prices are selling off stock for £4 each, had flags of our fathers plus Letters from Iwo jimo, the films produced by Steven Spielberg, plenty of other titles on offer. Great stuff   ....Carl.
