Anyone know the difference between the 2 models. Also what would be the best compatible speaker system.

795 is the model up with the same features as the 790 with the following additions - Pro-Logic IIx, 7 channel surround, 10W extra per channel, 2 x digital inputs (co-axial).

To be honest - I doubt you'd be able to get the older model anymore, but if you can, and aren't bothered about the upgrades - I would have thought you could get the old model at a pretty good price?
