Has the upgrade been released now?

Checked for upgrade 18th. November 2005. None is available. My wife lost most programmes which she programmed to record yesterday. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not.

The panasonic web site makes no mention of a new software release. Also the latest What Hi-Fi test made no mention of the software problems. They obviously did not do a web search but then I find their reviews to be superficial and not very technical.

emailed panasonic re the problems. Answer received next day 24th November 2005. Software still not ready. No firm date could be given for the ota update. January 2006 suggested. We shall see!

February and still no upgrade. I have bought a Humax 9200T. What a brillianr machine.

Good choice on the Humax Alan. I've got the 8000T, and it's brilliant. No dual tuner like the 9200, but still ace.
