40 cm from wall, take foam bungs out, toe in slightly... enjoy.

for more bass/less treble clarity.. push towards wall, and opposite for the opposite.

i've had these m35is for 3 yrs, and are only just run in!!!  they are fussy where you put them, but once right!!  they'll sing.
