That's a difficult one. She sounds as though she "Likes what she likes" and not overly romantic but appreciates something that is specially... Tricky. It's a shame about your sister getting her the jumpers. (Can you swop ideas? (if she's matchmaking she'll agree) Nothing like cuddling up to the present (and in the imagnation the person who gave it)... The trouble with clothing is that you can really get it wrong..sometimes the garments are too intimate and others just size/fashion is wrong...and as you say could be construed as an insult!
I've just brought Chris Botti's Cd When I Fall in Love...if you're that serious....works a treat on Ex-boss! (Brought Barry White the other week, he tried singing Love Serenade to me He was really offended when I collapsed into fits of laughhter! Apparently it's not good for a man's ego (think that's what he meant). Link Love Serenade. give it a lsiten if only for the laugh. This is just too much.
But music is good. It's a gift with meaning...taken home and enjoyed and thought about. You know yourself it evokes great memories of moments together.... a lasting gift with memories and reminders. Knowing you, you'd want to really spoil her. so something to listen to it on is good. If she's like me, just arrange a simple, cosy dinner for two of you. It's enough. Most women really want to spend time alone with a man who is attentive and fun.... you're more than the man for that, Mush! You've kept me amused on here for a long while.
Already read it, thought I'd let others see your name up there ...hope that's Ok. Think you've done a great job on it!....You've ertainly got a magic way with words. I think it had had 5 reads before I had so doing well. I wonder how many people know the name? ...I didn't but feel that I ought to have.
I posted Claire Sproule Review I don't know anyone who knows her. Friendly Plumber was really mpressed thought bit like Beth Rowley....
I bought Chris Botti's Cd When i Fall In Love...t's good. Another review likely to appear.
HelloTamara,All,got it sussed, she wants a LCD telly,we were watching "Silent Hill" and she remarked that she,d love one of these LCD,so now i know, going to sort one asap.Tamara, dont want to sound thick or whatever, but, whats Cable Knit,i have an idea but it cant be what i think it is,and you,ll only laugh...........Take Care Love.........Thick Mush
Glad you've sorted it out. I have to be honest a TV's the last thing I'd suggest..... it would never cross my mind. Just give me the guy any time...or at least something intrinsically linked to them...perhaps I am romantic?
Anyway back to the knitwear... Cable knit is a form of knitting which I believe originated in Scotland, Aaran, and they were popular with fishermen. The patterning of cable knits means that they're quite thick and so warm and cosy...and I do associate these with being cuddled. I think originally every family/knitter had their own pattern, lots of different patterns and colours. This one isn't pretty but does show the idea. Cable knit example. (can do this myself)
