Hi

Im looking for something with a DVD recorder (or maybe HD recorder) about 19 - 24 inches

for under £5OO.

Can it be done and is it worth it?? or should I just stick to a regular LCD/DVD .

cheers.

Hi Arcam78,

Are you saying, your looking for tv with built in DVD recorder ???????

If so i think you would only find a tv /dvd player combo,  not seen recorder or Hard disc built in, sorry.

Hello

I personally would stay clear of integrated units as in my experience seem more prone to failure of the dvd drive.

For £500 you can pick up some great kit. Do a search on the following kit for an idea

DVD Recorder

Sony RDRHXD870B - around £190 Amazon

TV
Sony KDL23B4050U £310

Sony KDL-20S3000 £300

Hello

I couple of links with LCD's with built in freeview/160GB PVR

22" http://www.amazon.co.uk/Prestigio-LCD-TV-built-160GB-record/dp/B0017WLAWC/ref=pd_sbs_ce_2

26" http://www.amazon.co.uk/JVC-LT-26DE9BJ-Widescreen-Freeview-Recorder/dp/B00178MXMC

I still believe that you would get better value with a better LCD and seperate DVD PVR or Frreview PVR.

If space is an issue maybe a slim PVR might help http://www.tvonics.com/dtrfp1600.html

Cheers
