I recently went to buy an MP3 player, only to find the e-seller I wanted to get it from wouldn't let me buy it, as I've only got a Solo card. Does anyone know of any good websites that accept this card? The site that didn't accept it was unbeatable.co.uk

Try www.stoneaudio.co.uk. I think they take solo. You won't be able to get an ipod, but they're taking orders for the new Sony hd-5 :)

I've used www.pixmania.co.uk before with a solo card to buy some accessories. Not sure if they stock iRiver stuff but I wouldn't be surprised, as they do loads of different things there.

You could always ring you bank and shout "GIVE ME A BETTER CARD OR I'LL LEAVE, DAMMIT" and see what they say!?

Surely you can get something better than a solo card! They're either for 15 year olds who aren't old enough to get a proper card, or for people (like my friend), who are in such financial ruin from years of wreckless credit card abuse, that the bank are only prepared to give them one of these...

Beyond HiFi (in our shopping section)sell the i-river and accept solo. I'm sure alot of them do now.
