waiting for my new samsung le46a559p to be delivered, dont know what or how many cables or connections i will need. there is 3xhdmi, 2xscart, 1xcomponent,inputs.will be going h.d. possibly through bbc. normal dvd player at the moment, would like to connect the p.c. also . any help will usefull...

thanks for replying .  not sure what the best type of cables or what connections i might need as i will be getting hd in the future. i have to channel them in the wall before i decorate. any advice is welcome

Hi Robin,

Most of the new players and add on kits for tv are equipped with HDMI sockets if getting these get 1.3 version, there are some good reviews on this very site on cables,

only you can decide what is good for your eyes/ears, if you have a good hifi/tv shop near, ask to compare cables, before you buy, make up a wish list on the component's you want to purchase this will tell you what cables to buy, - my choices may not suit your tastes.   .............Carl.
