Hello All, Members and New Members.

Now that we all can see who visits the forums, why dont you all pop in to say hello, there are sections of threads that you can use without talking about hifi, thats if you can resist ? or you can let us know what hifi you have purchased, and put your review up so that others who may be thinking of buying the same product can get an insight of what sound Quality these can offer them, come on dont be shy ! dont be put off thinking you will be put down,we are all still learning ?  all are welcome.

Hehe, I've just had a look at the All-time league table and somehow out of thousands of people, I am no. 257 which is kinda bizarre given my lack of reviews, uploads, posts (this is only my 19th ever) - I wonder if I will go up a few places after I submit this post?

Thanks Carl, you're right, haven't been around much but then I tend to register with too many places and can't keep in touch with them all, not enough hours in the day!

I did see the huge music thread but was scared to dip in, just in case I never made it out again

Hi Tamara,

Reminds me of documentary on people getting thier Id copied, this woman got into £ 7000, of debt through motoring fines, after her car reg was copied, she had bailiffs taking her household goods away, she was pushed too far and attempted to end it by overdose, no one believed her ?the offenders where caught, and she did get the value of goods returned, but husband says his wife is not the same person he first married.

Hi Carl,

It is terrible what things like that do......over a long period of time and the "authorities" not helping. Leaves you trying to prove your own innocence....  Almost guarantees paranoia....

Seeing as over time mot partners aren't who you first married I am wondering if he liked the new wife or not!....  I know I'm being facetious.

Tamara,

Fact of life that most couples love the person they marry, then end up changing them into some one they hate ? Now this is baffling to me !

Hi Carl,

Heard this yesterday....and is the reverse situation.   But definitely closer to the reality.  Should be a pre-nuptial listen to.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_y9F5St4j0&feature=related

It's sort of unromantic but wish it was everyones reality.

Tamara,

Unromantic, ? this is often the case with arranged marriages, and making the best of what you have, ? this film is one of my all time favourits, it is a great way of showing what parents think, and why they are the way they are, i can relate to this film, but i thank god i did not live through thier strife ?   ......Carl.

Show/hide user stats

Hi Carl,

I have never seen the film.  Tempted to now though.  I wouldn't want to start out that way...but if couples  can get to 25 years down the line and declare that their in  "love" that's becoming the exception to the rule!

Strange thing, friend from Uni....unmarried with children...estranged for various reasons has sent me a wedding invitation.......(It's brought tears to my eyes...she deserves a great furture).

Tamara,

Film on DVD, fiddler on the roof, around £5.00, 3 Academy awards,  ....Carl.
