Hi chaps.

i have just got a new samsung plasma telly and connected it to my existing jvc dvd player/ surround sound system. the surround sound is used on the aux feature of the jvc unit via a pair of phono cables from the back of the tv to the aux input on the jvc player. this worked fine with my old panasonic tv but now the sound seems to echo / be out of synch with the new tv. if i watch through sky box it is improved (assumingly because of the time lag on sky) it doesn't matter whether its on analogue tv or digital it still sounds to echo?  any suggestions. i will be replacing my surround sound system in the future but dont know how that will connect in and whther the problem will still occur.

thanks

Hi Chris,

Could simply be that your not muting sound from tv ?, or your watcing from the same channel from dvd/amp thus giving the sound a loop effect going back in to the DVD/amp via tv phono ?

view source direct to tv, select aux for sound only mute tv.
