John, don't be rude, it's a waste of your time and mine. Keep it up and I'll have to bar you.

Hi Hasman,

Take a look at richer sounds link:  http://www.richersounds.com/productlist.php?cda=productlist&sgroup=SPEAKERPACKAGES

Although not top Hifi these are pretty good packages for your cash.

Or,

The Mordaunt shorts here link: http://www.hifi4less.com/section.php/12/0 These are a little better for music.

OK OK OK Dave, If I remember right my reply was pointed but not rude. Have noticed a new thread on porcelain speakers and they look very interesting....... John...

PS a pair on e-bay No 120305440936 worth a look!

Hi Hasman,

Are you keeping the sub and the floorstanding speakers and only want to buy rears and surrounds or are wanted 6 speakers and a sub for 500-600 pounds?

Regards,

Steve.

Hi Steve

I would like to keep the sub and get rid of the floor standers.

Hi Hasman,

I could recommend B&W (new 600 series) but I they are outside the 500-600 price range - you could spend that on the fronts alone.

Unless you go for a smaller speaker system like KEF KHT 2005.2, or Wharfedale diamond 9 HCP or Tannoy HTS200 (larger fronts). I would recommend at least 1000 pounds - your system is only as good as your weakest link and your speakers are very important.

Cheers,

Steve.
