Come on Keith, you have A] not answered the question and B] not read my input about room acoustics. If anyone was fanatical about room acoustics I think you would find it to be me, I have 'skyline diffussers' on the back wall. I have curtains full length along the side wall, a thick pile carpet on the floor, the room is almost an anechoic chamber. On entering it and closing the door one can feel the silence. As for the reproduction - 'pin point positioning' comes to mind, 'detail' comes to mind and 'sweetness' comes to mind.

I, like you, but not many others, do understand the importance of room acoustics. Far more important than any overpriced 'interconnects'

Sorry but just noticed what this topic was all about, sorry to say my amp is battery powered so no mains issues to even think about, maybe that is why I have never heard a click or pop in a year, all I ever hear is the 'inky blackness' that we all so desire.
