I have a DVD-1920 on order and have two Audio Radius 90 and three Audio radius 180 speakers. Can anyone recommend me a suitable amplifier that will enable both digital comms from the DVD 1920 and also future HDMI input from a plasma TV?
I didnt think the 1906 had HDMI? see link http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo-1.cfm/Product_ID/2361 I was looking at the denon site the pther day and I noticed the higher spec models do.
Me too. I checked the 1906 and although it has the optical input connections it is not HDM enabled. Any idea of the best value better spec model in the range?
Sorry, my mistake, I am also about decided on the 1906, 1920 pair. And HDMI is also critical to me too, but I intend to go straight to the TV. I know the 4306 Denon has hdmi outs, but that is about £1400. I will check this thread too, maybe I will be swayed by other peoples advice.
there is a yam with HDMI which is cheaper. I ve got the Yamaha DSP757SE which sounds great with music fo a AV amp hooked up to my 1920 with coax. I got it from richer sounds (£399) who priced matched to £349 then knocked another £5 off. Out of interest, what tv you guys connecting to?
I have a H&B 32" LCD. Loads of inputs, but it has DVI in. I have already bought a HDMI to DVI cable in anticipation to the 1920 Denon. I did like the look of the 757 yamaha, but like the idea of a matching (albeit aesthetically) system.
Try out the Sony STR-DA1200ES. Will upscale component to HDMI and has two HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output with full switching. I have one of these and at around £300 it is unbeatable. The auto setup is awesome (as What HiFi said it was).
