How to convert iTunes movies to Galaxy Note using Pavtube ChewTune
As we all know, the TV episodes, movies, and music videos in the iTunes Store are encoded with M4V format. The copyright of M4V files may be protected by using Apple's FairPlay
DRM copyright protection. DRM can not stop users putting iTunes movie to an Android device, but it stops an Android tablet or smartphone playing iTunes movies- that's why you get gray screen when trying to play an iTunes movie on Android tab like the mentioned Samsung Galaxy Note. However, the iTunes videos, with DRM removed and format conversion, can also be played in the Samsung Galaxy Note video player without problem. So the most important piece of the equation is that you have a DRM Removal Software installed to your PC.
Below is a simple guide of stripping DRM from iTunes and changing the file extension from ".m4v" to ".mp4" for playback with Samsung Galaxy Note, you can take it as reference:
Step 1: Download
iTunes movies to Galaxy Note Converter and install it, then drag and drop itunes video files to the program. (if you are Mac user, you can download
Mac M4V Video Converter. The Mac version support Mac OS X 10.5 above (including Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Mac OS X 10.7 Lion) on iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, etc.)
Step 2. Click on the "Format" bar to choose a format for iTunes video to Galaxy Note conversion. Follow "Common Video" group to choose customized format "
H.264 Video (*.mp4)" for Galaxy Note.
Step 3. Click "Convert" button to start to convert M4V videos to Galaxy Note MP4. iTunes pops up automatically when conversion starts. Leave it be and don't close iTunes till conversion completes.
Before conversion you'd better change iTunes options: 1. Launch iTunes, and switch to "Movies" under LIBRARY.
2. Select the videos you’d like to convert, right click on them, and select "Get Info".
3. Switch to "Options" tab, find "Remember position" and select "No" from its drop-down list. Click "OK" to confirm.
So there you have it. Pretty simple. After this workflow, you can go to the output folder to find and download the converted iTunes m4v movies to Galaxy Note. Then you can experience and
transfer iTunes m4v movies to Samsung Galaxy Note without any restriction.
