I purchased an MTV SMM - 117 accessory pack that basically converts my DVD into a karaoke unit. The leads from my DVD need to be connected to the SMM117 and new leads then connect fomr that to the TV. Thre is no common colour coding and I cannot get any sound from the unit from the mike. The DVD plays OK and the sound is fine but I suspect this is being played via the scart lead. How can I get sound from the DVD playing on the DVD player and from the microphone whihc is plugged into the SMM 117. Which cables plug in where. The TV, DVD and Video are all Toshiba separates.

from the smm117 you should have two rca phono outputs from these plug other ends to the rca inputs on your tv.
if no tv input - plug into "aux input" on audio amp. hope you get lucky.
