Has anyone ever tested battery performance of an Ipod (hard drive versions) in horizontal and vertical positions?

As hard drives are usually laid horizontally, I would have thought that using them vertically would slightly worsen the performance of a battery.

haven't myself russell, but heck it's a theory worth trying!

Hmm not sure about that. Aren't a lot of PC hard drives laid vertically?

I SEE WHERE YOUR COMING FROM RUSSELL .BUT JUST TO DIGRESS, I HAVE BEEN TESTED HORIZONTALLY AND VERTICALLY BY THE WIFE AND IT DID NOT WORSEN MY PERFORMANCE.
