Hi Peeps, This is my very first thread,so I hope someone can assist me. and Iam fairly new to this game.
I've just treated myself to a Sony STR-DA 1200 ES A/V receiver,But I'm a bit blinded to the science of it all.
The problem is that I can't get sound from my sub.It's a cheap old thing just to get me started.So I'm presumming it's a passive one.as there are only a red and black cable coming out, and no knobs.So, do I need an ative one for this machine or am I doing something wrong????? That will do for starters
