Erm, and the point of a high definition screen this size is?

And no it's not the world's smallest HD screen:

You see, HD is not just for people. It's for small animals, too. These are the perfect HDTVs for the well-heeled cat who has everything.

Plus, if you are sitting less than six inches from the set, this makes... oh, who am I kidding?

That's it, bright shining PR career over before it began. If I can't spin doctor something as simple as a tiny HDTV, game over.

My only view is that this is good for console game fans who can't afford a bigger screen.

If my son wanted a HDTV for his bedroom then I wouldn't want to spend the £500 on a PS3 and then the same again on a TV so he could play it in the bedroom enjoying the same benefits as he would in the living room.

But surely there's no way you'll get any real benefit of HD with a screen this size? If money is a problem I'd even go for a bigger, non HD screen.

It looks nice enough for a bedroom, not something you would have in your front room.

And it would still look good on a games console, so fair price for what it is..

Makro doing them for £149.99 + vat
or £139.99 without the dvd player

Problems are :-
No clock function (useless as a bedroom alarm clock)!
Instructions declare several times that it can not be left in standby mode for long periods of time (eg overnight) due to the external psu life span.
Viewing angle is poor coupled with low brightness level.

Well that makes it completely useless in my view then after what I said earlier.
