Just been reading about the new onkyo sr605 and decided i may as well get that one instead of the sr674 that i had decided on, but it's not due here in the uk till mid june / july and i'm not sure i can wait that long !

if i were able to get one from the states would it be ok over here or am i just going to have to wait like everyone else?

When you say 'ok' do you mean if it'll work? I guess it will but you'll need some sort of voltage converter. Not too expensive if you pop down to Maplins.
