I'm currently attempting to decide what cabling i need for my system.
I have a Toshiba 32WLT66 TV, the M-S Genie speaker package and the Cambridge Audio Azur 640r AV Receiver with the Cambridge Audio DVD89 Player. These are connected with a QED QUNEX HDMI-P cable and an IXOS interconnect.
I have pretty much decided on QED Silver Anniversary XT cabling with airloc connectors but i am sure that i read somewhere that for the speaker cable to the sub it should be of a specific type, "more meatier"? anyone care to share any light?

No, a sub cable should be pretty much identical to every other interconnect cable. Sort of.

Some high end cables end up with surprisingly high capacitance when run long. Cables dedicated to long runs will have no such problems.
