Does this run off the mains only, or is there a battery compartment?

Hi There
Regarding the battery infor, nope.. it only runs from the mains only.
Although many people complained about issues with the player, i think its the best in the market now, with the best image and the best sound.Picture QUality is marvelous.
All the other media players have quirks too, and so this one have also. But firmwares have been released regulary, and most part of the issues have been corrected by Pixel Magic guys.
Hope it Helps
Best Regards

For many, many months now, no new firmware has been released for the HD Mediabox 100 and no questions have been answered (except to encourage people to buy newer products).

Yesterday I posted a complaint about the lack of support (many issues have never been solved and the latest firmware has made matters worse). Today I found out that my message has been removed from the Pixelmagic user forum and my account no longer has privileges to post or reply to messages.

Apparently, Pixelmagic prefers censorship to support for existing products. I will never buy from this firm again.
