Av Amp or Av Receiver? which product is stll the best for £700

I have the Bose Accust. 5 speakers just for the front and B&W for both front & Surround and looking to buy a very good Amp or Receiver. Any advice pls.?

I don't think it matters. My understanding is that an AV Receiver is an AV Amp with a built-in FM radio receiver. The receiver part won't be usable soon if the broadcasters get their way.

Which sort of messes things up for me because my car has an excellent radio in it - only it's not Dig it all. What's more it's built in and can't be replaced as far as I know.
