I have been with Denon AVR-3805 till now and guess it's the best time for the futuristic HDMI to emerge. Will welcome AVR-4308 with open arms but is it made in China now???

Have no fear! There seems to be little of China in my 4308. I've spent acouple of weeks getting it installed, and believe me, it does exactly what it says on the tin! It is a wonderful machine, and does everything I could need. The best attribute is the double HDMI output connection, so it can push my Samsung Plasma screen and my Projector.

My retailer warned me off from the Room Setup software, and I don't use the alternative zone features. Instead I've assigned two amplifiers to Bi-amp my front speakers, and I use a spare power amp for the centre channel, and another amp for the rear surrounds. This installation has all the shove I need for spectacular movies in either DVD format, or from BluRay - although I haven't got any of the latter with the new sound formats yet.

I recommend the 4308 whole heartedly, and I can't find any weak spots yet!

Apologies for wasting space. I can't find a way to cancel!
