Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on which receiver would be better suited for my home theater set-up. I have both the Marantz ZR6001 (based on the SR5600) and the older Rotel RSX 965. I will be running KEF Q65.2 mains, a Quad L-series center and Axiom Millennia M1TI Se rears.

The Marantz is certainly newer, more powerful (95 WPC) and has more surround sound fields. The Rotel, which I was given at a steal is a Rotel (75 WPC). I will be using the second choice to run a Bose Acoustimass 15 system (please don't ridicule me) because of size limitations imposed by the wife. The main system is in a larger, dedicated area.
