I hate to sound cynical but would the BBC not be better trying to get freesat hd started first before they waste resources on a 3D experiment which few people will see!

sombody has to experiment if we are ever going to get 3d tv, only I bet the licence payer will be the last to benefit

Sorry to sound like Victor Meldrew, but having paid licence fees for more years than I would like to admit, it would be nice if they spent a few pounds to even change the " Free to Air" preview on Sky HD.I bet you are right, we will be be the last to benefit from 3 D some areas cant even get 1 D.

I hope they get it off the ground before all the bandwidth from the release of the analogue channels gets taken up with just more channels carrying dross like Soaps, 24/7 Gambling and such like.

Give me 3D over the God Channel +5 any day.
