Right, i've narrowed down my choices to these two, (don't want an ipod mini - everyone's got one!!!) . which one is better? i like the design of the rio more , but the creative looks to have more features on it. Are both of them 5gb players? 'cause i've heard creative were going to release a 6gb one...

Bevan, i reckon the carbon is better - sound is superior, battery life is longer, and it's much slimmer. The creative looks damn ugly as well! But the ipod mini is still better than both of them - there's a reason why everyone owns one!! ;)

I'd say the iriver h10 is a better all round piece of kit than either of them. you get to view your photos on it, plus there's loads of other features that puts rio's player to shame. admittedly the battery life is a bit shorter, but it's removable, so you can buy a spare one if you're on the move!

Nick, have you seen the new iaudio x5? It looks pretty neat - bigger screen than the h10 (at 1.8 inches) and it's 20gb!! Take a look:

I'd agree with you Nick - I'd go for the iRiver. As well as the added extras that you mention, I think it looks much sharper than the other two!

Yeah, but the iriver is more expensive, and all you're paying that extra £40 for is the ability to view photos on it. Is that something you really need it to do?

iRiver has just announced they'll be a new version of the H10 coming out in the Autumn and it'll have a 20GB hard drive - now that's a bit more like it!
