Video To DVD Recorder

If anyone can help me here trying to transfer some videos from crappy Brocksoninc ( dont ask it was cheap ) to Sony DVD recorder , dont want to use scart as getting behind DVD is a nightmare however front of recorder has section for leads have got leads white and red which connect video up to recorder for sound what other lead that I dont have am I missing

Is this a video camera? the red and white cable connections are audio left/right you should have yellow for video - but need to know connection socket on brocksoninc for video out??

The video is a VCR not camcorder there is no place for the yellow pin to go into there are to other sockets guess one is for vid out looks like it may an ariel type lead which i do not have any ideas who I can get one from

Hello Simon,i,m afraid that if you dont have the video out [yellow ] you,ll have to connect a scart,which will give you a better signal anyway,and leave it permanantly connected.......Dave

VCR front sockets are for input only - you will have to look at back sockets for output??

Yes you are correct - hope Simon not trying to copy original film content as CRM copy protection will not decode to DVD recorder???
